"What if I don't want them?" Robert asked with a bit more seriousness than his recent laughing fit. The nicknames caused more of that feeling where he wanted to get away from Erik.

It was that other comment though that dampened his happiness and laughter to quiet. Robert had only ever been told he had screaming nightmares and sleep paralysis like symptoms. He knew why and didn't want to think about them. Erik brought up the feelings related to those nightmares, the terror inside of being anything closer than friends. He glanced over at Erik and forced a smile through a heavy breath.
