Robert could only laugh at the nervousness he can see. It wasn't like people didn't assume that was what Erik thought. Tom and Aarne had both teased Robert about as much.

"Something?" Robert breaks out into a full on laugh that he nearly chokes. "Isn't that suck someone?"

Robert could laugh about it but inside he was knotting up and wanting to run, only while they were driving he couldn't run. Humor was the next best thing for now.
